It has been a great Fall for trail work and even a little skiing mixed in with cold temperatures and snow that we have been fortunate to see here in the Northeast Kingdom. NEKBC would like to thank all of its volunteers for the 200 plus hours put in this past October and November to open up more skiable terrain in the Willoughby State Forest (WSF), East Haven Norman Property, and the Kirby Thompson Property. The work done in the WSF has more than doubled backcountry skiing in the area with skiing now available for all levels. Paired with the existing nordic network, the WSF will no doubt become a destination for outdoor enthusiasts! Let it SNOW!
